Campsites

In Neckargemünd guests will find three conveniently located campsites that leave nothing to be desired.

Campsite "Haide"

The Haide camp site is situated just off the Neckargemünd municipal border, behind the Neckar bend and close to the city of Heidelberg. Every new season gathers an international potpourri of campers on a 10 acre meadow area protected by shady trees which is 100% floodproof, even though it is conveniently situated on the banks of the River Neckar.Guests can use the non-parcelled camping area or rent a room in one of the log cabins.

Two dormitories with mattresses are available for group travellers. The camp site also features a playground and, in order to keep in touch, an Internet terminal free of charge. 2005 was a year that saw many activities organized by members of the campers (DCC, ACSI, CCI) and automobile associations (ADAC, ANWB) with pre- and postseason price reductions. Vor den Toren von Neckargemünd, nach der Neckarschleife, an der Stadtgrenze von Heidelberg liegt der Campingplatz Haide. Auf 36000 m2 schattigem Wiesengelände, direkt am Neckar (100% hochwassersicher), findet sich jede Saison eine internationale Mischung von Campern ein.
Der Gast kann auf den nicht parzellierten Plätzen campen, oder ein Zimmer in einem der Blockhäuser nutzen. Für Gruppen gibt es zwei Schlafsäle mit Matratzenlager.
Der Campingplatz hat einen Kinderspielplatz und um Kontakt mit der Welt zu halten bietet sich ein kostenloses Internetterminal an. Eine Vermietung von Fahrrädern, auch Pedelecs, ist möglich.
Für Mitglieder der großen Campervereinigungen (DCC, ACSI, CCI) und Automobilclubs (ADAC, ANWB) gibt es zahlreiche Aktionen sowie Ermäßigungen in der Vor- und Nachsaison. Mehr Informationen findet man auf unserer Webseite.

Campingplatz "Unter´m Dilsberg"

The camp site “Dislberg Castle” is situated at the foot of the Dilsberg mountain just across Neckarsteinach, the “town of the four castles”. Magnificent hiker and bicycle trails take you upstream into the Neckar valley (passing by such beautiful spots as Hirschhorn, Eberbach, Zwingenberg) or downstream to Neckargemünd or the city of Heidelberg. You can walk to Neckarsteinach across a weir or use a local train to take you to scenic places in the surrounding area.
You can also arrive at the camp site by car, going via Neckargemünd and Rainbach-Dilberg, taking a left turn for the camp site just about 500 yards in front of Dilsberg castle. The camp site is just about 6 km away from Neckargemünd. Be cautious upon entering: narrow passage!
Departing from the camp site, which is open April 1 through September 30, you can take a boat trip to Heidelberg with the so called “white fleet”. Camping space (meadow area as well as single parcels) is available for both permanent guests and tourists. The camp site is equipped with all amenities, ranging from a barbecue site to modern sanitation facilities.

Der Campingplatz,"Camping Unter'm Dilsberg" liegt direkt am Fuße des Dilsberg und genau gegenüber der Vierburgenstadt Neckarsteinach am Neckar.
Wunderschöne Wander-und Fahrradwege führen ins weitere Neckartal, wie z.B. Hirschhorn und Eberbach, Zwingenberg oder flussabwärts nach Neckargemünd und Heidelberg. Zu Fuß kommt man über das Stauwehr nach Neckarsteinach, mit der S- Bahn weiter in die nähere Umgebung.

Mit dem Auto fährt man über Neckargemünd, Rainbach-Dilsberg, nach ca. 500m zum Dilsberg muß man links abbiegen zum Campingplatz - enge Zufahrt!
Der Campingplatz ist ca. 6 km von Neckargemünd-Stadt entfernt. Mit der "Weißen Flotte" kann man eine Schifffahrt nach Heidelberg unternehmen.
Geöffnet ist der Platz von 1.April bis 30. September.

Wir haben Dauerplätze und Touristenplätze. Außer Wiesengelände können auch Parzellen angemietet werden.
Das Sanitärhaus ist modern. Ein Grillplatz steht zur Verfügung.

Campingplatz an der Friedensbrücke

Centrally located in the lower Neckar Valley region, the “Friedensbrücke” campsite on the banks of the River Neckar is most popular as a holiday destination. Surrounded by the Odenwald mountain ranges, it is an attraction for anyone interested in fishing and water sports. The site is equipped with extensive modern sanitation facilities, hot-water showers as well as power connectors for caravans and a kiosk which stocks food, beverages and camping equipment.

The site has room for about 150 camping units and has wide asphalt roads, which allow easy access and departure for campers and caravans. Directly at the campsite there is a canoe rental. The modern, heated terrace swimming pool Neckargemünd is only a few 100m away. The attractive old town Neckargemünd is within 5 minutes walking distance. Heidelberg can be reached quickly by car, bus or train.
